slightly, the 2007 balls will feature minor
modifications and upgrades to the existing models which
mostly involve dimples and alignment aids. The
characteristics will alter the flight patterns of the
balls, giving the Pro V1 a slightly higher trajectory
and the Pro V1x a slight lower than the previous design.
Titleist claim that both will offer slightly more
distance than before due to the Staggered Wave Parting
Line - giving more dimple coverage with 392. The other
minor improvement will be the Alignment integrated
Marking stamp for improved putting alignment. Just one
more thing, ball numbering will now be available from 5
to 8 in addition to the traditional 1 to 4.
The new Pro V1 and Pro
V1x should start to arrive in retail outlets around
February 2007.
